Convert.Files

If you are like me and listen a lot of music. Everywhere, at home, work etc... and listen them on youtube, dailymotion etc.

But in the bus or train I wanted my dailymotion's songs too.
I found a very good, exprerimental Firefox plugin to convert this.

This new plugin is very cool, fast, and FREE. It's called "Convert.File" in the Firefox addns repository.

Youtube new features

At Google we are also concerned about accessibility and continue to innovate and offer simple services that are actually useful.
This applies also in the offices of Google and YouTube in particular, which launched a few days ago two new features related to subtitling and translation of videos.

Auto-caps (for Automatic Captions, French subtitles automatic) is a new service that combines the ASR (automatic speech recognition) of Google and the system of sub-titles YouTube to automatically generate the transcription synchronized real-time text content in YouTube videos. Thus, those who suffer from hearing loss or deafness can they follow the example of a video conference by reading the subtitles generated on the fly, as here for example.

But the Auto-caps do not limit himself to make videos available to deaf people: it is a great assistance to those whose level of English is insufficient to attend a conference orally but enough to read and understand the transcript. Besides they can still be helped by automatic translation of transcripts in their language.

Another feature offered with these new features: the ability to combine its own transcript in text format (. Txt) to a video for YouTube that takes care of sync to turn it into captioning.
