WordPress 3.0 released !!
WordPress 3.0, the thirteenth major release of WordPress and the culmination of half a year of work by 218 contributors, is now available for download.
Theme developers have new APIs that allow them to easily implement custom backgrounds, headers, shortlinks, menus (no more file editing), post types, and taxonomies.
Developers and network admins will appreciate the long-awaited merge of MU and WordPress, creating the new multi-site functionality which makes it possible to run one blog or ten million from the same installation.

iPhone OS 4 beta 3 and SDK availables
Apple has recently proposed to the developers third beta of iPhone OS 4 (firmware and SDK). This new version was really expected of all developers, because the previous version was considered as a true "disaster" to the point that some developer would be returned on the last version official OS (3.1.3).
Indeed, the beta 2 was very unstable, slow, with big problems in some main application as the inability to take photos, the impossibility to recharge his iPhone without having to restart the camera or problems with WiFi networks or 3G.

Reading .MOD files on Mac OSX
If you want to read the .MOD files (from a JVC HD camera for exemple), this is what you need to do.
- Download Perian
- Install it and active it
- Rename your .MOD files in .MPEG files (all capital).
