Twitter officially announces Android application, what rekindling fears of independent developers?
Twitter has just made available its formal application for devices running Android. As promised by the leaders of social network, it's free.
Her widget appears on the home screen and the user allows direct visualization of his tweets on a map or in its address book, view its flow, etc..
The application also syncs contacts.
It only works with Android 2.1 (and versions later).
She was co-developed with the team and Android integrates the various functions of the phone as well as third party applications.
The developpers have serious internal plate on Twitter integration at different levels of the OS in order to access.

The blogs under WordPress.com have now a new feature they can enable. You can now automatically publish your wp posts on your Twitter account.
To enable this, go to "Dashboard -> My blogs admin page"
Apple Event – iPod, iPod Touch and iTunes 9
Here we are, Apple'll hold an event the 9th september 2009.
The event's named "It's only Rock'n'Roll, but we like it". The event's subjects will be iPod, iPod Touch and iTunes.
The new iPods should have a video sensor (and the video for the iPod Touch, as iPhone). iTune 9 will support Blu-ray disk and will have Facebook/Twitter integration.
Will see this the 9th.

Twitter 0 – 2 Pirates
Et voila, après l'attaque subite le 6 août 2009, Twitter a subit une seconde attaque hier.
Sur la page de news de Twitter, on peut lire qu'il sagirait de la seconde atatques en moins de deux semaines. "Update (12:17p): We’re back up and analyzing the traffic data to determine the nature of this attack.” était lisible. Par contre, aucune précision à propos d'un éventuel lien entre ces deux attaques.
Dave Marcus, directeur de recherche chez McAffee, l'éditeur de solution de sécurité, n'exclut pas que le site de micro-blogging soit "victime de son propore succès. Regardez combien de personnes se connectent à la fin de la journée. C'est certainement une des applications web les plus populaires". Sous entendu, ces interuptions pourraient également être liées à un problème de serveur et d'architecture mal pensée.
Quoi qu'il en soit, ces problèmes dans la conception de Twitter rendraient plus facile une attaque DDOS sur Twitter que contre un autre site. C'est en tout cas ce que Dave Marcus laisse entendre à demis mots.
Les responsables de Twitter, eux, se refusent toujours pour l'instant à tout commentaire.
