PuSH

Like rssCloud, PuSH is a way for services that subscribe to updates from your blog (think Google Reader, Bloglines or Netvibes) to get updates even faster. In a nutshell, instead of having to periodically ask your blog if there are any updates they can now register to automatically receive updates each time you publish new content. In most cases these updates are sent out within a second or two of when you hit the publish button.

Today, WordPress.com's team has turned on the PuSH support for over more than 10.5 million blogs.

Support for TYPO3 4.0 is officially over

As we can read on typo3.org, the support is now over.
So it's really time to upgrade for the turtles who are still running the 4.0 or under.

WordPress 2.9.1

After over a million downloads of WordPress 2.9 and lots of feedback from all of you, WP Team's releasing WordPress  2.9.1.  This release addresses a handful of minor issues as well as a rather annoying problem where scheduled posts and pingbacks are not processed correctly due to incompatibilities with some hosts.  If any of these issues affect you, give 2.9.1 a try.  Download 2.9.1 or upgrade automatically from the Tools->Upgrade menu in your blog’s admin area.

A little support.

Thanksgiving was last week, and I thought about doing a post to thank the people who contribute to WordPress core, since this is a group of people I’m thankful for on a daily basis. I started a draft, and then realized that with 2.9 in beta, we’ll have a release announcement sometime in the next few weeks (barring unforeseen complications, etc), and all the core contributors will be thanked then. Though I think it’s worth giving thanks every day for the people who make WordPress possible, I don’t like to clutter up anyone’s feed readers with repetitive posts, so I decided to wait until today for my post, and to focus solely on the other group I’d planned to include: support forum volunteers.

New support forum moderators have been chosen.

Typogento. Bad support, bugged extension.

Just a little post to say that typogento sucks a lot...
Typogento team doesn't upgrade TypoGento extension while Magento is upgraded, the API too....

Now (on 1.3.2.3 and 1.3.2.4), it's totally buggy. I've fixed two bugs, reported them with the fix on the tracker, but now update from a time ago.
All that to say that dont try to use TypoGento, it's a waste of time.

Good afternoon.
